Hello fellow anal retentive AOLers. This collection of disk icons is only meant for the true perfectionists who just can't stand those generic icons that appear when you insert your program disks. The way I look at it, when you are making the copies of your master disks (which we all do, don't we) you can copy the disk icon image to the disk at that time.
These icons are provided in ResEdit format. A simple way of copying a disk's icon is to open the icon family editor window inside of ResEdit for each disk (Ic18s), select the entire icon area by selecting command "A," then copy it; return to the finder and use the Get Info command on the disk that you want to change. Click on the icon in the Get Info box until a square forms around the icon. Then simply select paste, and it will transfer the icon image you copied out of the ResEdit file to the disk you chose.
I have provided 80 of the most popular programs with the most current icons. If there any icons that you do not see and have, please send me copies of their icons (Ic18s).
